What’s included
House removals
Full house moves of any size, from a two-bed terrace in York to a six-bedroom family home. Planned around your completion time.
Flat and apartment removals
Stairs, lifts, restricted parking and long carries are planned for on the survey, not discovered on the day.
Local moves
Within York and the surrounding towns. Often done in a single day with the same crew at both ends.
Long-distance moves
York to London, Scotland, the South West or anywhere in the UK. One crew, one vehicle, door to door, with an overnight stop where the distance needs one.
Same-day and short-notice moves
Property chains move quickly. We hold capacity for short-notice moves where we can, so ask even if it’s tomorrow.
Single-item transport
A sofa, a wardrobe, a piano or an inherited dresser, moved with the same care as a full house.
Student and first-home moves
A smaller crew and vehicle for smaller moves, without cutting corners on protection.

Process
How it works
1
Survey
At home or by video. We look at what’s moving, the access at both ends, and anything that needs special handling.
2
Written plan and fixed quote
Within one working day. Crew size, vehicle, timings, and one price.
3
Confirmation and move day
A call the week before to confirm times. Then the crew arrives when we said, and stays until the last box is in the right room.
Common questions
Before you ask
Do you survey before quoting?
Yes, for anything larger than a one-bedroom flat. In person or over a video call. It takes about twenty minutes and means the quote is fixed rather than estimated.
What does the fixed price include?
Crew, vehicle, fuel, furniture protection, dismantling and reassembly of standard furniture, and insurance. Packing and materials are itemised separately so you can choose. There are no extras on the day.
What if my completion date moves?
It happens. We hold your date as long as we can, and if the chain slips we’ll move you into storage and out again rather than leave you without a plan.
