Who we are

What we collect
When you request a quote or send a message we collect your name, phone number, email address, the addresses you’re moving between, details of your move, and anything you choose to tell us, including photographs you send. When you become a customer we also hold your quote, booking, inventory, invoices and payment records. We do not collect card details on this website.
Why we use it
- To prepare and send your quote, and to carry out your move (performance of a contract, or steps before entering one).
- To keep records we’re required to keep for tax and insurance purposes (legal obligation).
- To contact you about your move and, if you agree, to ask for a review afterwards (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing lists.
Who sees it
Only the director and crew working on your move. We use a form-handling service to deliver website enquiries to our inbox, an email provider, and an accounting provider. Each processes data on our instructions. If a claim is made, relevant details are shared with our insurer.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don’t become bookings are deleted after 12 months. Customer records are kept for 6 years after the move for tax and insurance purposes, then deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no advertising cookies. If we use website analytics, it is configured not to identify you personally. Your browser’s own settings control cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where we have no legal reason to keep it. Email appleremovalsuk@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
