Our story
Small on purpose.
Most removals companies grow by adding vans and subcontracting crews. The customer ends up speaking to a sales office, then a dispatcher, then a crew they’ve never met. We set Apple Removals up the other way round. The person who surveys your home and writes your quote is the director, and he’s on the move with you.
We started with local moves in York and the East Riding. Word of mouth took us further: Leeds to London, Beverley to Shrewsbury, and now regularly to every part of mainland Britain. The way we work hasn’t changed. One crew, one vehicle, door to door.
The name comes from the apple in an open hand on our vans: something worth looking after, carried carefully.
Why people choose us
Four things we do on every move.
A plan before a van
Every move starts with a survey, at your home or over video, and a written schedule. Nothing gets decided on the driveway.
One person to call
Your move coordinator is a director. You’ll have their mobile number from the first quote to the last box.
Packed like it’s ours
Double-walled cartons, wardrobe boxes, blanket-wrapped furniture, and fragile items packed by hand.
Fixed price, fully insured
Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance, and a written quote that doesn’t change unless your move does.
The director
Who you’ll be dealing with.

Dominic Wiseman
